Future Education
We are looking for innovative solutions for the education of tomorrow.
Artificial intelligence is already changing the way we learn, teach and impart knowledge. At the same time, serious games, simulations and interactive learning environments are creating entirely new opportunities not only to impart knowledge, but also to bring it to life.
Whether in schools, universities, vocational training or further education – at the Fulda 2026 Hackathon, we’re looking for creative digital solutions that make education more personalised, practical and motivating.
Join forces with other coders, designers, creatives and innovators to develop smart learning assistants, AI applications, serious games or interactive simulations for the education of the future – and collaborate with educational institutions, companies and organisations that want to put these innovations into practice.
Help shape the future of learning with us.

"Every year, I am amazed by the results that the creative minds come up with in just 25 hours. For EDAG as an innovative company, the effective exchange of knowledge is a central concern. The Hackathon Fulda 2024 promises not only exciting innovations, but also an inspiring dialogue. I am looking forward to this intensive exchange and am excited to see what new impetus we can generate together with the participants."
Heiko Herchet
Vice President Sales Software & Digitalisation, EDAG Engineering GmbH

"Year after year, the Hackathon Fulda proves that there is a lot of innovation and bright minds in the region. It is a glimpse into the future with the realisation that the next generation can tackle and solve problems!"
Stefan Will
Fulda County

"The Hackathon Fulda stands for innovation and team spirit - and has been bringing together creative minds from all over Germany since 2019. With this year's focus on disaster tech, we are putting a highly relevant topic centre stage: how can technology and a wealth of ideas help to better manage crises? I'm looking forward to new perspectives and solutions that really make a difference."
Christian Vey
Managing Director TechHub Region Fulda e.V.

"Through the hackathon, I got to know my current bosses and colleagues and was able to be part of the start-up phase. The perfect event to get in touch with creative makers and perhaps embark on new career paths."
Michele Drabiniok
UI/UX Designer, kaleidos:code GmbH

"The hackathon is not just a great opportunity for our students to try things out and get involved. As a large institution with many people on campus, the university could also be hit quickly and dramatically by disasters. I'm looking forward to the approaches that the participants develop here."
Jörg Kreiker
Vice-President for Learning, Teaching and Digitisation, Fulda University of Applied Sciences
